Project Manager and Marketing Intern

Job Description:
 
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Project Manager and Marketing Intern. Mansfield Bio-Incubator is a nonprofit organization involved in educational activities to prepare next generation of entrepreneurs by training and providing resources for start-up companies.
The intern will participate in the organization of community outreach program, network events and marketing activities. The specific responsibilities may be based on the experience, skill and interest of the intern as well as project needs


 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 
Project Management: schedule the meetings between the staff and startup founders, take minutes for the meetings, send the reminders to the team on the deliverables, assist in organizing online and in-person events, help format the PowerPoint presentations.
 
Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging and visually appealing content for various social media platforms.
 
Social Media Management: Help manage and maintain our social media profiles, ensuring they are up to date, relevant, and aligned with our goals and objectives.

Qualifications:
 
Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management or a related field. Interest in Life Sciences and Cleantech is a big plus.
 
Social Media Proficiency: Strong understanding and experience using various social media platforms
Creativity: Ability to think creatively and generate engaging content ideas that align with brand values and target audience interests.

Job Description:

As an Intern Scientist in Skin Biology at SOLTÉGO you will play a pivotal role in our research efforts related to DNA repair, photoaging, and tanning. This internship offers an exceptional opportunity to work closely with experienced researchers and gain valuable insights in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Laboratory Work: Assist in conducting experiments related to skin biology, including ex vivo experiments, tissue culture, cell assays, Histology and molecular biology techniques.

Data Collection: Accurately collect, record, and analyze experimental data, ensuring that research protocols are followed meticulously.

Literature Review: Stay updated on the latest scientific literature in the field of skin biology and integrate relevant findings into research projects.

Collaboration: Collaborate with senior scientists and research teams to plan and execute experiments, share insights, and contribute to project development.

Presentations: Prepare and deliver presentations on your findings, both within the team and to a broader audience.

Documentation: Maintain detailed laboratory records, document experimental procedures, and contribute to the preparation of research reports.

Quality Assurance: Adhere to laboratory safety standards, maintain equipment, and ensure a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Skin Biology, etc.).

  • Passion for skin biology, DNA repair, photoaging, and tanning research.

  • Basic laboratory skills, including experience with cell culture, Histology, molecular biology techniques, and data analysis.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and a meticulous approach to research.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.

  • A collaborative mindset and adaptability to a startup's dynamic and innovative environment.
