The Fourth BIOINC Pitch-To-Portfolio Competition Continus to Put Mansfield Bio-Incubator on the Map.

MANSFIELD, MA – November 25, 2025 - The Fourth BIOINC Pitch-to-Portfolio Competition, held on November 13, 2025, was another memorable event in the string of pitch competitions that brought collectively 68 pitches, $280K in awards, and 550 attendees. A true legacy and evidence of the well-established and vibrant BIOINC life science ecosystem.  What began as a regional pitch event has now evolved into a truly international platform for scientific innovation and entrepreneurial excellence.

This pitch competition featured a keynote address by US Congressman Jake Auchincloss (D) followed by a pointed Q&A session. In his keynote, Rep Auchincloss emphasized that many of the scientific entrepreneurs were immigrants. He thanked them for building here and encouraged them to feel welcome in Massachusetts not let anyone make them feel less than fully American. He stressed the idea that the nation is not based on blood and soil but rather on the ideas of freedom, natural rights, and equality. During the Q&A session, Jake implored everyone in the audience ot pick one issue that resonates with each individual and keep pushing for scientific progress, prosperity, and equality despite the political headwinds.

As usual, a wide range of life science sectors were presented, including therapeutics, diagnostics, and medical devices, and natural products.

All-investor judging panel of 6 awarded the following companies

First Place: Soltego, presented by Inbal Rachmin, VP of R&D

Second Place: Asparaglue, presented by Paul Birkmeyer, CEO

Third Place: Lambda Surgical, presented by Roman Stolyarov, CEO

It was a tough competition, places were separated by single points from each other and from the rest of the pack.

Brown University Partnership

This competition also features a new collaboration with Brown University, which presented five graduate-level biotech venture teams in a 90-second elevator-pitch format. These student-led ventures, developed through Brown’s advanced biotechnology management program, represent investment-ready concepts supported by early technical validation and market analysis: Tanzanite Therapeutics (Alissa Lui), NuroNova (Saachi Gandhi), OncoTrack Technologies (Siddarth Vinod Kumar), pHera Therapeutics (Nidhi Pawar), LumiNeura Imaging (Nastassja Matus).

“We’re thrilled to continue the momentum from our first three competitions,” said Russ Yukhananov, President of Mansfield BioIncubator. “These pitch competitions are becoming a cornerstone of our mission to support innovation and connect startups with entrepreneurs, investors, and industry professionals within Mansfield BIOINC's growing life science ecosystem.”

The pitch competition was generously sponsored by MilliporeSigma, SIno Biological, Slowey McManus, ADP, CMIC, Cytosurge, CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), and Polsinelli. We are extremely grateful for support!
